Welcome to Judy Rissling Photography. I invite you to step into my world where there is magic in nature.

I grew up on a farm outside of a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. My love of nature started as a child looking for the first crocuses of spring, experiencing the magnificence of a prairie thunderstorm and amazing sunsets. Fast forward to today. I am now based on beautiful Vancouver Island where I am immersed in the wonders of nature every day.

For me, nature brings forth an energy. Sometimes it is calm and serene. At other times it is wild and untamed. It is full of wonder and awe. But we rarely take the time to really experience the beauty that is around us. The goal of my photography is to draw you into every photo I take. I want you to feel the connection I felt in that moment. Come and experience nature with me through my lens.
